A series of 8-pin plastic Mini-DIL dual in-line diode lasers for use in high-bandwidth subscriber optical data networking systems feature an output power of 0.4 mW at 1,310-nm. Designed for fiber optic communication systems, the laser provides data transmission speeds of up to 622 Mbits/sec.
The Hitachi plastic Mini-DIL laser diode comply with the Bellcore983 specification for temperature tolerances by offering a -40° to +85°C operating range.
