A bearing free line scan engine can accommodate mirrors with clear apertures ranging from 7 to 15 mm, oscillating over ±16° with a wobble of less than 2 µrad. The FM2000 achieves a bandwidth of 1.2 kHz, with a small step time of less han 600 µs, an offset drift of 30 µrad/°C, and a gain drift of 100 ppm/°C. The unit operates over the temperature range from 0 to 50°C, with a heat sink temperature of 85°C; it can also be fitted with an optional cooling fan.
