D-mannitol is a typical polymorphic crystalline solid that is widely used in pharmaceutical and food industries. Raman Spectroscopy is an ideal analysis technique for the analysis of these polymorphs with its vibrational spectroscopy, no need for sample preparation, and its non-destructive approach. In this application note, 1064 nm dispersive Raman is demonstrated as a viable, nondestructive method to identify polymorphs and apply process monitoring. Download the full paper for more information.
