CEA-Leti To Present 11 Papers At Photonics West, Including Technologies Approaching Industrial Readiness
CEA-Leti's optics and photonics multidisciplinary teams will present their latest solutions for all-wavelength imaging (visible, infrared, THz), information display systems, light-emissive components, optical data communications, optical sensors, and much more at Photonics West 2024, Jan. 27-Feb. 1 in San Francisco.
With 11 papers, the institute will present this year's major scientific results at the event’s BIOS and OPTO conferences, including the following topics:
- Silicon photonics for computing, AI, communication & quantum technologies,
- Integrated solutions for biosensing,
- MicroLEDs for display & high speed communication and
- Integrated LIDARs.
“These innovative solutions address many commercial needs and we look forward to discussing potential R&D collaborations and technology transfers to our industrial partners,” said Laurent Fulbert, deputy head of CEA-Leti’s Optics and Photonics Division.
During its Photonics Workshop at 5:30 PM on Jan. 31, CEA-Leti will unveil recent breakthroughs in imaging and next-generation displays and discuss its latest results in integrated-photonics technology for communications, computing and sensing. W Hotel Great Room, 181 3rd Street, near the Moscone Center.
In addition, CEA-Leti's booth in the Moscone Center French Pavilion will exhibit silicon photonic components, optical sensors, microLEDs for display and optical communications, and frequency-modulated continuous waveform-based (FMCW) scanless 3D imaging systems. Booth #5129/North Hall French Pavilion Moscone Center.
“Full InGaN red emission on different InGaN pseudo-substrates for native full color micro-displays” and “Photonic-crystal based emissive III-V on Si microstructures for color conversion applications”
