CAD Software Package

The Apollo Photonic Solutions Suite is a photonic design suite that delivers full integration of device and circuit modeling for next generation devices in an easy-to-use, hierarchical framework. The CAD software gives photonic device designers a powerful set of tools to quickly and efficiently design chipsets using either common materials such as silica or next-generation materials such as indium phosphide (InP). This product suite includes pre-defined, knowledge-based component libraries for standard and customized device structures.

Powerful, built-in simulation techniques enable designers to test their complex devices and circuit structures to evaluate performance characteristics prior to the prototype phase. The software also offers capabilities for design optimization and parameter extraction. The software will be available with a choice in material foundation, either silica or InP. Separate versions for silica and InP enable designers to take advantage the specific performance capabilities of each material. The package also includes waveguide design, device design, and circuit design software.
