BRAGG Photonics Inc. designs and develops component solutions for high speed fiber optic telecommunication networks. These solutions enable the carriers to migrate to high data rates, on the installed fiber base, to OC-192 and beyond, pack more data channels in the EDFA window, improve the performance of next generation fiber amplifiers and therefore reduce the cost of providing new broadband services. The ability to transport high data rates on the existing fiber base eliminates the need to install replacement fiber thus resulting in tremendous savings for carriers. It also makes the new fiber future proof as data rates escalate beyond OC-192.
