Beam Pickoff and Attenuation

Almost all lasers are too intense to be viewed directly by a camera
Almost all lasers are too intense to be viewed directly by a camera. Typically a reflecting surface is used to deflect a small percent of the beam towards the camera, and then filters are used to further attenuate the beam.
- The new Beam Tap II is an ideal pickoff device for sampling laser beams.
- The LBS-160 Variable Wheel Attenuator is an ideal attenuator to follow the Beam Tap ll for unfocused beams.
- The LBS-100 is a very convenient combination pickoff and attenuator for visible and near IR (400nm to 2200nm).
- The LBF-50 is an ND filter assembly that screws directly on to the front of the camera.
