Basler Presents New Area Scan And Line Scan Cameras At The Vision-Show Paris
Ahrensburg - Basler will present several innovative camera models at the Vision-Show 2008 in Paris which takes place from September 30 until October 2, 2008.
Area Scan Cameras
The Basler scout series is expanding with four new camera models based on Sony's high sensitivity ICX445 CCD sensor. Customers can choose from eleven CCD and one CMOS imaging sensor in both mono and color. In the scout series, Basler offers over 50 high-quality camera models with up to 2 megapixels and a choice of GigE or FireWire interface.
Basler is also enhancing its mid-range pilot camera series by adding the 90° housing versions for all models as well as a new sensor front end. This addition employs the Sony ICX625 CCD sensor and expands the maximum resolution of Basler pilot series cameras to 5 megapixels. Basler pilot cameras feature a fully GigE Vision compliant Gigabit Ethernet interface.
All scout and pilot cameras are offered in mono and color, and as standard housing or 90° housing version with a small industrial footprint of 29 mm x 44 mm x 73.7 mm.
Line Scan Cameras
New members of the Basler sprint line scan camera family and the innovative Basler runner line scan camera series will also make an appearance at the Vision-Show.
The sprint series features a Camera Link interface and includes members with 2k, 4k and newly 8k resolution. The unique dual line CMOS sensor design provides outstanding image quality at speeds up to 140 kHz in the 2k and 4k models. The maximum line rate of 70 kHz in the 8k variant has not been reached before at this resolution. New color versions of all Basler sprint cameras will also be presented at the Vision-Show.
The Basler runner series includes seven models (six monochrome cameras and one tri-linear color camera) with 1k and 2k CCD sensors and screwable RJ-45 connectors. The runner series features a well-established Gigabit Ethernet interface that is both GigE Vision and GenICam compliant.
