Avantes, a leading company in the field of fiber optic spectroscopy, is pleased to announce the release of our native 64-bit AS-5216 DLL for our AvaSpec-USB2 platform. "The development of a native 64-bit AS-5216 DLL is logical step for Avantes as many of the development applications used by our customers such as MATLAB™, LabVIEW™ have migrated or are in the process of migrating to 64-bit," according to Benno Oderkerk, Avantes Technical Director. This latest release by Avantes is a continuation of our commitment to supporting our end-user and OEM developers with a state of the art software framework.
Avantes AS-5216 DLL package can be purchased directly form Avantes or through any of more than 40 exclusive distributors located throughout the world. The AS-5216 package provides functions for all aspects of instrument control and includes samples programs in LabVIEW™, Borland Delphi, C++, C#, Visual Basic, MATLAB™. 64 bit sample programs are available in the following programs at this time: LabVIEW 2009, MATLAB R2010a, Qt4 (a native code framework, compiler used is Visual C++ 2008), Visual Basic .net 2008, Visual C# 2008 and Visual C++ 2008 (.net version)
