AL Cheswick of Krell Technologies gives us a brief demonstration of the Scepter Automated Connecter Polisher System at Photonics West 2013. This system provides precision optical polishing in mid- to high-volume connector polishing applications, as well as medical device polishing. It features automated PC control, integrated air-polish routine, 12-connector support, singlemode and multimode fiber in-line video inspection, and Telcordia compliance.
