Allied Vision Technologies Presents A New Version Of Their Guppy Entry-Level Camera With 5 Megapixel Resolution

At VISION 2008, Allied Vision Technologies will present the new Guppy F-503. In the small form-factor of its entry-level model, this leading camera manufacturer has housed a high-resolution 5 megapixel Micron CMOS sensor.

The Guppy F-503 is geared toward simple microscopy applications requiring the highest possible resolution in the smallest possible space. It is available in both monochrome and color versions. The CMOS sensor offers high sensitivity and stands out from the crowd with its choice of rolling and global start shutters along with horizontal as well as vertical image mirroring. The Guppy F-503 is equipped with an IEEE 1394a FireWire interface.

With this new Guppy model, Allied Vision Technologies offers high resolution within extremely compact housing dimensions (48.2 x 30 x 30 mm) at an incredibly attractive price.

The Guppy F-503 will be available in Q1 2009.
