All-Reflective Microscope Objective

An all-reflective microscope objective that is achromatic in the UV thru IR permits long working distances with near-diffraction-limited performance.

The Opticon All-Reflective Microscope Objective is a two mirror system, based upon a modified Schwarzschild design, with concave and convex spherical mirrors for aberration-free viewing and long working distances. Featuring a convex mirror machined directly into the spider assembly, it is shock- and vibration-resistant, and the near shingle material provides a uniform coefficient of thermal expansion.

Hand assembled in an interferometer with near diffraction limited performance, the objective features nickel-plated brass construction, and is offered in standard 160 nm or infinity back focus.
