Airborne Thermal Infrared Hyperspectral Imaging For Mineral Mapping
Source: TELOPS
This Telops webinar demonstrates the advantages of using thermal infrared hyperspectral imaging (TIR HIS) for mineral mapping during an airborne survey. Results are shared for a case that was carried out over an open-pit mine in the Thetford Mines (Qc, Canada) area. These results illustrate how the Telops Hyper-Cam airborne camera system provides high spectral resolution data that facilitates temperature emissivity separation (TES) and atmospheric correction to retrieve a thermodynamic temperature map of the area and its associated spectral emissivity datacube.
