Adimec Introduces N-5A100/CXP High Speed Camera For Multi-Camera Inspection Equipment

Python 5 Megapixel single CoaXPress Norite camera released at Vision 2016

EINDHOVEN, the Netherlands --  Adimec (www.adimec.com), a world leader in application-specific, leading-edge industrial camera solutions, announces the new NORITE 5 Megapixel compact CoaXPress high-speed area scan camera, the N-5A100/CXP for high speed multi-camera inspection systems. The Norite N-5A100 camera is a 5 megapixel camera with CMOS global shutter technology in a 1” optical format. For developers of multi-camera systems, such as side-view cameras for 3D metrology, the N-5A100 cameras offer reduced system complexity through its simplicity while increasing throughput.

N-5A100 cameras are designed to work together, such that four N-5A100 can be connected on a single frame grabber and the entire camera system can be controlled through one user interface.  The frame rate of the N-5A100 cameras can match with the higher resolution top-view camera to provide the synchronized acquisition of all cameras to maximize system throughput. The CoaXPress interface provides a simplified cable harness with flexible and a fewer number of cables and cable lengths of up to 40 meters. The small camera outline (29 x 29 x 45 mm) enables a compact detection head outline and ensures full mobility in the system.

Multi-camera systems using N-5A100 cameras eliminate bandwidth limitation, cabling and synchronization constraints that you have when using Camera Link- or USB 3.0 vision.
