The LINOS line of achromats and lens systems are ideal for beam focusing, imaging systems, and fiber collimation. They feature minimal spherical aberration, minimal chromatic length aberration, and minimal wavefront distortion between λ /4 and λ /10.
These achromatic lenses are made from high-quality materials from Schott and Ohara. They’re laser-centered, and as such, have an excellent alignment of the center of curvature, or optical axis, to the edge of the achromat. This ensures consistently high imaging quality with resolutions that approach the theoretical diffraction limit.
