500W, QCW, Water-Cooled Stack Based, Fiber-Coupled Module
Source: DILAS
DILAS, the diode laser company, introduces a new, 800µm (NA 0.22), Water-Cooled Stack Based, Fiber-Coupled Module. The new fiber-coupled water-cooled stacks offer a QCW operating mode with up to 30% duty cycle, and the ability to deliver scalable output power up to 500 watts at 808nm, 940nm and 976nm from an 800-micron core diameter fiber with a numerical aperture (NA) of 0.22, resulting in high coupling efficiency.

Custom wavelengths are available upon request. These fiber-coupled, water-cooled stacks are ideal for medical applications, such as hair removal. With these fiber-coupled stacks the stack itself can be installed inside the laser system and the fiber delivers the light to the hand piece which makes the hand piece less sensitive to shock and thus easier to handle (light weight). As with all DILAS' fiber-coupled products, devices are available with optional features to include an integrated pilot beam, fiber interlock, and user exchangeable protection window.
