Datasheet: Picosecond Pulsed Diode Laser Driver - PDL 800-B
8/4/2010
The PDL 800-B is a stand-alone driver for the picosecond pulsed laser diode heads from 375 to 1550 nm (LDH Series, LDH-P-FA-530) as well as for the sub-nanosecond pulsed LEDs from 255 to 600 nm (PLS Series). The laser heads can emit light pulses as short as 70 ps FWHM (50 ps on selection) at repetition rates from single shot up to 80 MHz with peak powers up to 1 Watt (depending on wavelength).

Datasheet: Sub-Nanosecond Pulsed LEDs - PLS 255 to 600
8/4/2010
The PLS Series are the fastest miniature sub-nanosecond pulsed UV/blue/green/orange LED sources available. They combine short pulse widths (<600 ps FWHM) with high repetition rates (from single shot up to 40 MHz) in a compact and maintenance free set-up.

Catalog: Tapered Lasers And Amplifiers
7/14/2010
Tapered diode lasers combine a nearly diffraction limited beam quality with output powers which have previously only been available for diode lasers with broad-area design. To achieve these characteristics, the lateral design consists of a taper and a ridge-waveguide section. High beam quality is made possible via an index-guided ridge-waveguide or MESA structure. In contrast, high output power requires a gain-guided broad pumped area which leads to a taper section.
