IRD Glass manufactures precision glass and ceramic components for the Laser OEM, medical, sensors, defense and aerospace markets. Their vice president of sales and marketing Todd Anderson gave us a brief overview of his company and their special capabilities in detailed machining, grinding, lapping, and polishing. He then turned it over to company president Dirk Kvale so we could take a look at some of the specialty products they were showing at this year’s Photonics West exhibition.
