Optiwave Unveils OptiSystem 4.0 At Photonics West 2005

Ottawa, Ontario -- Optiwave Corporation (booth #220), the leading provider of photonic design automation tools, today has announced OptiSystem 4.0, a major upgrade to the most advanced optical communication system design tool on the market, will be unveiled at The MathWorks booth (#833) during Photonics West 2005 in San Jose, CA, this January 25-27. OptiSystem Product Manager, Dr. Jackson Klein, will be on hand to showcase OptiSystem's strong integration with MATLAB version 7.

OptiSystem 4.0 delivers a comprehensive toolset with over 400 components which helps users meet their simulation needs in a dynamic research environment. In response to providing a flexible licensing structure, OptiSystem 4.0 is available in three configurations: Full, Amplifier or Multimode Editions.
