The In-Sight 2000 vision sensor — a product which bridges the gap between smart cameras and general purpose vision systems — offers advanced machine vision technology in an cost-effective, stand-alone package that doesn稚 require programming or a PC.

The sensor lets you create simple as well as complex vision applications in an easy-to-use spreadsheet environment. The unit痴 handheld control pad gives you the freedom to navigate the spreadsheet and click through menus and link tools using simple commands rather than typing in code.

The device fits in tight spaces and can be installed out of the box. The package contains the rugged In-Sight processor with a complete library of vision tools, built-in I/O, a digital machine vision camera, and the handheld control pad. A variety of high-performance lighting modules for part illumination are available.

In-Sight is used in applications where manual inspection can稚 be done, including locating parts for machine guidance, measuring part dimensions, or verifying that a product has been assembled correctly. Industries include automotive, electronics, medical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and consumer products.
