Handheld Raman Spectrometer: IDRaman Mini
Fast and accurate spectroscopic measurements are typically made with larger, bench-top Raman spectrometers. While this is fine for laboratory settings, reliable measurements in field or mobile applications have proven to be somewhat difficult to achieve. The IDRaman Mini is a true handheld, compact (3.6 x 2.80 x 1.5 in) and portable Raman spectrometer ideal for rapid materials identification, counterfeit detection, authentication analysis, incoming material verification, and in-line/at-line testing in all settings- from the laboratory to a rugged or harsh environment.
The IDRaman Mini handheld Raman spectrometer weighs just a little over 330 grams and can run for 11 hours on 2 AA batteries. This is especially key in field applications or on long manufacturing shifts where recharging batteries is not possible. The system measures both powdered or vial (liquid) samples for material validation/identification.
The spectrometer features a 2.8 inch resistive touch display with an intuitive user interface. You’ll receive visual confirmation on the sample you’re measuring in less than 9 seconds, all on a system that fits in the palm of your hand.
