Camera Based Laser Beam Profilers

Photon's BeamPro family of NIST-traceable camera-based laser beam profilers includes the 12-bit FireWire BeamPro CCD cameras in 1/2- and 2/3-inch formats and the 10-bit, 2/3-inch USBeamPro CMOS camera with USB 2.0 connectivity, along with world-renowned Photon beam profiling software.
Photon also provides a full range of optics to measure both small and large beams. There are beam expanders to magnify smaller beams and reducers to fit larger beams onto the camera arrays.
For laser beam profiling applications involving moderately sized beams with wavelengths from around 250nm to 1100nm, the silicon CCD array is an excellent solution. With any camera array based profiler it will be necessary to attenuate the laser beam to prevent saturation of or damage to the sensor.
