3CMOS 1080p HD Video Camera with Enhanced Infrared Imaging Capabilities: IKHD5
Toshiba’s IK-HD5 is a progressive scan, full HD 3CMOS camera with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. It operates at 60 fps and features a removable optical low-pass filter for imaging in both visible light and NIR spectrums. Expanded menu functions have been added for the red filter infrared mode, and the camera offers 3dB increased sensitivity in the near infrared.
The IKHD5 utilizes Toshiba America Imaging’s proprietary 3-chip prism color technology. It’s well suited for color-critical applications like endoscopy, defense imaging systems, surgical microscopy, general infrared inspection, ophthalmology, and machine vision. This is the first camera that Toshiba has offered that includes a 3G-SDI output format.
