High Resolution Uncooled SWIR Infrared Module: XSW-640

Source: Xenics
Xenics' XSW-640 camera module (part of the new Xenicscore family of compact, uncooled OEM modules) is an extremely compact and versatile core for easy and swift integration in your SWIR imaging configuration. The XSW-640 detects short wave infrared radiation between 0.9 and 1.7 µm with a wide dynamic range. Typical OEM applications include infrared imaging for man–portable and unmanned (airborne and land based) vehicle payloads, spectroscopy, process control, automated production inspection, machine vision, biometrics, and more.

Xenics' ready-to-integrate SWIR infrared camera modules consume ultra-low power, they are lightweight (less than 100 g), easy-to-integrate, and can accommodate customer-specific lens and interface requirements.

The XSW-640 camera module is based on an uncooled InGaAs array (640 x 512 pixel) with 20 µm pixel pitch for the detection of short wave infrared radiation between 0.9 and 1.7 µm with a wide dynamic range. It measures only 45 x 45 x 20 mm³. Resolution of the analog/digital converter is 14 bit.
