Hi, my name is Greg Neece, president of Avantes for the Americas. Avantes is an 18-year-old company providing spectrometers for end users and OEM customers who need an embedded sensor. Avantes spectrometers typically cover 190 nanometers out to 2,600 nanometers.
This year, Avantes introduced eight new spectrometers for the UV, visible, and near-infrared ranges. We also introduced the concept of product families to help our customers understand where the spectrometers are best applied. The StarLine, for instance, encompasses our workhorse spectrometers that are most broadly applied in many applications.
The NIRLine, as the name suggests, includes all of our near-infrared spectrometers operating from approximately 900 nanometers out to 2,600 nanometers. The SensLine is our line of high-sensitivity spectrometers for the applications that demand high sensitivity.
It's worth noting that all of our spectrometers can be combined in virtually any mix to make sure that we have the correct balance between sensitivity and range. Additionally, our spectrometers are controlled with AvaSoft software from Avantes, or we offer a full DLL package for customers who would prefer to write their own controlling software.
At Avantes, we like to work with our customers to make sure we understand the application demands and help them choose the correct solution that meets their needs. We are constantly evaluating new detectors, gratings, and other technologies to broaden our offering of solutions.
At Avantes, we appreciate the opportunity to talk with our customers, understand their demands, and help them find solutions in spectroscopy.
