600 Participants At HALCON User Seminars In Japan

Regarding the launch of the new version of the machine vision software HALCON 9.0, three user seminars took place in Kyoto, Nagoya, and Tokyo (Japan) from February 25 - 27, 2009. These seminars were hosted by LinX Corporation (Yokohama), the exclusive distributor of HALCON in Japan.

About 600 decision makers and engineers from the Japanese industry took part in the seminars. Topics were the focused training in the comprehensive innovations of HALCON 9.0 as there are considerable speedups especially for HALCON's automatic operator parallelization, unique new matching technologies for perspective distortions, further novelties for 3D vision, the processing of extremely large images of more than 32k x 32k pixels, and HALCON's enhanced usability. Accompanying to the talks, notable Japanese industry companies showcased their latest machine vision solutions implemented with HALCON.
