Toshiba Imaging Systems Division Announces New Director

Irvine, CA — Toshiba America Information Systems announces the promotion of Mr. Derrick C. Christy to the newly created position of Director of the Medical/Factory Automation Business Unit of Irvine-based Toshiba Imaging Systems Division (www.cameras.toshiba.com). The appointment becomes effective October 1, 2006. Prior to this position, Mr. Christy served as the OEM Sales and Sales Engineering Manager, Toshiba America Information Systems, also in Irvine, California. Mr. Christy is a 15-year Toshiba veteran and in his new position he will be reporting directly to Toshiba Imaging Systems Division's Vice President and General Manager Tatsuo Murayama.
