Abrisa Technologies offers the SCHOTT AS 87 eco ultra-thin aluminosilicate glass for use as a cover or enhancement glass on low profile displays, touch sensors, and other display applications where thickness and weight are a concern. The glass features extremely high levels of bending and impact strength, and superior scratch resistance qualities.
Abrisa Technologies now offers an extended range of standard stock non-glare (NG), anti-reflection (AR), and anti-reflection coated non-glare (NG/AR) glass and custom solutions, ready to be fabricated to exact specifications. Abrisa Technologies now offers the innovative High Ion-Exchange (HIE™) Asahi Glass Corporation (AGC) Dragontrail™ aluminosilicate glass for cover glass, display, sensor, and scanner technologies. Dragontrail supports low profile, reduced weight, portable field, and industrial devices with a toughness of 6x that of soda lime float. It is designed to enhance the usable lifetime of high contact touch displays, and industrial image sensors, document scanners, and on board vehicular and avionics displays.
Abrisa Technologies is proud to offer the highly transmissive, thin, alkali-free, boro-aluminosilicate glass from Asahi Glass Corporation (AGC). The AGC EN-A1 is ideally designed for use in highly sensitive bio-photo detection applications, high throughput sensor applications, as enhancement glass for thin displays, and as cover glass for micro arrays.
Abrisa Technologies provides very wide angle anti-reflection (AR) coatings for p-plane and s-plane polarization. These coatings support high throughput efficiency for broad angle polarization sensitive applications such as switchable Bragg gratings and spatial light modulators (SLM) used in laser beam steering, image enhancement, near-to-eye displays, telecommunications, and other low-loss wide-angle applications. Durable hard dielectric AR layer construction enables use of these coatings in “tough” outdoor and industrial environments. Enhanced easy-to-clean oleophobic/hydrophobic options are available.
Abrisa Technologies offers high throughput efficiency wide angle, broad spectrum sensor and laser scanning window solutions for visible 425-675 nm (VIS), visible to near infrared 425-1050 nm (VIS-NIR), short wave infrared 700-1800 nm (SWIR) and popular laser and LED wavelengths from 405 to 1550 nm. These window solutions are designed for image sensors and scanners and may be used in industrial 3D metrology, machine vision, automotive obstacle avoidance, security and surveillance, document scanners, 3D scanning, gesture recognition, and other digital imaging applications.

Abrisa Technologies offers frit ink graphics for screen printed glass used in rigorous environmental conditions. Frit ink is composed of colored glass/ceramic frit particles, resin that holds the frit in place prior to firing or tempering, and a liquid/chemical medium that allows the ink to be applied. Screen printed glass with frit is highly durable and ideal for applications where corrosive salt spray and fog are continuous environmental threats.
Abrisa Technologies offers a wide variety of solid colored glass for use in lighting and entertainment, architectural, and landscaping applications. Designed with soda lime glass that can be tempered for additional thermal shock resistance, the colored glass may be drilled, sandblasted, screen printed, and fabricated to any shape. Standard stocked colors include red, yellow, pink, green, medium amber, medium blue, dark blue, light blue correction, lavender, mercury vapor green, and light amber.
PRO-AR399 optical abrasion resistant coatings repel dirt, dust, water, grease, and oil. They’re ideal for glass or ceramics specified for heavy use in harsh environments (not including high UV exposure) and can be applied to substrates as thin as 0.2mm, and thicker than 100mm. This coating type is part of Abrisa Technologies’ CleanVueTM PRO series.
Abrisa Technologies' anti-glare glass allows its users to focus solely on the displayed image without interference from reflected images. It’s manufactured via a controlled acid etch process yielding uniform diffused surfaces for anti-glare and high resolution. They can be used for vision panels, doors, windows, display cases, and much more.
Glass edging can be done to improve a glass’s dimensional tolerance, functionality, cleanliness, appearance, and even resistance to chipping. Abrisa Technologies' edging treatments include cut/seam, machine ground (pencil and flat), and machine polished (pencil and flat).

Abrisa Technologies introduces a new line of large HI-OD™ (high optical density) screen printed display glass solutions in sizes up to 84” diagonal, ideal for retail and commercial digital signage, gaming tables, in home entertainment and other large format displays. The HI-OD™ printing process uses proprietary epoxy ink formulations in a multi-pass, multi-layer offset process that achieves high quality screen printing with a low profile and “pinhole free” opacity.
Abrisa Industrial Glass, a division of Abrisa Technologies, now offers an even more comprehensive line of ultra-thin borosilicate and aluminosilicate glass solutions for use as protective windows, coating substrates and insulating or chemically compatible barriers for use on Image and Bio Sensors, Displays, Touch Panels and other portable and high contact use devices.
