World’s First True HD Thermal Camera: Viento HD Lab

Sierra-Olympic is proud to present the new Viento HD Lab camera, the first longwave infrared (LWIR) camera designed with true high-definition imaging at 1900 x 1200 pixel resolution. This fully functional camera system is based on a unique 1920 x 1200 x 12 µm uncooled sensor, making the imager ideal for users who require the maximum number of pixels available in a thermal, commercially-supported imaging system.

The Viento HD Lab camera delivers LWIR imaging at 30 Hz frame rate, thermal sensitivity at 30 mK NETD at F1.0 16-bit, and full-dynamic-range digital data, or digital data with automatic gain control (AGC). The system also includes a 24 mm F1.1 athermalized custom designed optic, an HD camera housing with conductive cooling, and a configured frame grabber for full-frame rate, full bit depth acquisition and display.
