Datasheet: SPMArray2
sensL's Position Sensitive / Multi-Anode Silicon Photomultiplier Array (SPMArray) is the first commercially available, solid-state, large array detector based on silicon photomultiplier technology. The SPMArray is an arrayed version of sensL's novel Silicon Photomultiplier (SPM) pixels tiled together using flip chip technology on glass. The performance and specification characteristics of each pixel are similar to sensL's SPMMicro products . The device is sensitive to visible light in the range of 400nm to 850nm and suited to applications requiring direct light detection at these wavelengths or for radiation detection via scintillators.
The second generation of SPMArray has zero dead-space on three sides. The pixel-to-pixel spacing is 200µm within the 4x4 array. Meanwhile, only 100µm of dead-space remains around the outside edge of the array, thereby resulting in a total of 200µm spacing between pixels of neighbouring arrays when units are tiled together. This allows for a linear Nx1 or Nx2 arrays to be seamlessly constructed.
