The DP71 represents Olympus' most technically advanced digital camera for use with industrial microscopes. High resolution 4080 x 3072 pixel images are the result of a powerful 1.45 million pixel CCD and a sophisticated pixel-shift algorithm.

Coupled with a built in Bayer color filter, Peltier cooling, and advanced - yet simple to use - multi functional software, this camera contains all the features necessary to maximize and streamline workflow.

The DP71 is designed to meet the needs of today's high-end microscopic digital photography. Our Peltier cooled custom-designed 1/2" CCD is the heart of our system. Using a high quality Bayer filter and sophisticated pixel shift algorithm results in high resolution images (12.5MP) of distinct clarity and color fidelity. High speed hardware allows real time image display (1360 x 1024) at 15 fps while the transfer of a 4080 x 3072 pixel size image occurs in 3 seconds!
