Northrop Grumman Honored For Business Leadership By LAEDC At 12th Annual Eddy Awards
Los Angeles The Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC) has selected Northrop Grumman Corporation as the first honoree for its 12th Annual Eddy Awards®. Established in 1996, the annual gala is the region's most prestigious recognition of top business leadership in economic development.
The 12th Annual Eddy Awards will be held on Tuesday, November 6th, 2007 at the Beverly Hilton. Northrop Grumman Corporation's Chairman and CEO, Dr. Ronald Sugar, will accept the award.
"Northrop Grumman displays outstanding economic development leadership and corporate citizenship," said Bill Allen, LAEDC president and CEO. "They provide high quality jobs for the Los Angeles County area, and their commitment to educating and training our future workforce ensures that we will continue to nurture and grow our region's economic prosperity."

In addition to recognizing Northrop Grumman and a second honoree, the LAEDC will present the winner of the 2nd Annual "Most Business Friendly City" award to one of the six finalists: Burbank, Cerritos, Lancaster, Long Beach, Palmdale and Santa Clarita. Last year, the City of El Segundo won the inaugural "Most Business Friendly City" award.
