Silicon photomultipliers (SiPMs) from First Sensor detect ultra-low light levels down to single photons. The SiPMs feature low operating voltage, excellent temperature stability, immunity to magnetic fields, and miniature chip-scale-packages (CSP). The detectors are optimized for near-ultraviolet or red, green, and blue light detection with peak sensitivities at 420 nm or 550 nm. The Tigris-640 from Xenics is a cooled mid-wave infrared (MWIR) camera with a resolution of 640 x 512 pixels and a pixel pitch of 15 µm that is ideally used for biomedical, industrial process monitoring, nondestructive testing, MWIR R&D, and thermography applications. Interfacing is done with the GigE Vision or CameraLink output, but analog out, HD-SDI, and triggering are also available.
