Moritex Announces Low Cost, High Performance Machine Vision Lenses

The new MML-ST series from Moritex are a new low cost range of Machine Micro Lenses designed to exhibit the highest-level optical performance when combined with 410,000-pixel cameras.

Drawing upon over 25 years experience in developing durable, high-performance products for vision applications — Moritex has thoroughly reviewed its design and manufacturing processes to produce a unique range of low cost, high performance MML's.

The MML-ST Series are available in five working distances (65mm, 110mm, 150mm, 200mm and 300mm) to suit a wide range of applications. Designed to enable simple and rapid mounting on manufacturing equipment, the MML-ST Series offer compactness, long depth of field, high uniformity of coaxial illumination across the entire field of view and distortion-free performance.

Moritex MML's are telecentric lenses, which maintain a constant view angle to the subject. This is achieved by keeping the optical ray paths parallel to each other. Lens telecentricity is crucial in vision and inspection applications where view angle and magnification errors need to be minimized. All Moritex MML's are packaged in compact, low mass designs, assembled to endure the rigors of even the most demanding machine vision and industrial inspection applications.
