Litton Nabs Army Contract for Night Vision Systems

Littones Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD) has awarded the Electro-Optical Systems Division (LEOSD; Garland, TX) of <%=company%> (Arlington, VA) a contract to develop and integrate CMOS "camera-on-a-chip" technology with image intensifiers to yield a compact, low power-consumption, night vision camera system.

The units will be designed for use in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) for lengthy missions and will be able to support the current Driver's Viewer Enhanced program (DVE), as well as multi-spectral, image-fused systems.
