Infrared Camera Technology Supports New Applications With Asynchronous Laser Pulse Detection (ALPD)

There are many growing infrared applications that are driving the need for unique IR imaging systems that range from shortwave infrared (SWIR) to thermographic, uncooled imaging and longwave infrared (LWIR) systems. Sierra-Olympic now offers a new visible-SWIR video camera, the QI-SCD15-M1, with the ability to operate in either a conventional shortwave infrared (SWIR) imaging mode, or in Asynchronous Laser Pulse Detection (ALPD) mode. This white paper discusses the features of the new QI-SCD15-M1 as well as the advantages of using its ALDP imaging mode. Download the full paper for more.
