Imaging Fast Moving Objects Without The Blur: HD MWIR Camera

FLIR’s A8300sc series is made up of compact, high definition MWIR cameras that operate in the 3 to 5 micron waveband. The 1280 x 720, or 1024 x 1024 pixel resolution, and 14µm or 18µm detector pitch produces crisp thermal images for a wide variety of applications – from electronics microscopy to thermal validation in motor vehicles.

The A8200sc and A8300sc stream thermal data over Gigabit Ethernet and CoaExpress to a PC for live image viewing and recording so users can easily monitor, analyze, and share data through FLIR’s ResearchIR software or compatible third-party software. Achieving a high thermal sensitivity with very low noise, the FLIR A8300sc is able to capture the finest image details with even fast moving objects.
