Bristol Instruments’ model 771 is a high-resolution laser spectrum analyzer that measures the spectral characteristics of CW and high-repetition rate pulsed lasers that operate from 375 nm to 12 μm. Laser wavelength is measured to +/- 0.0001 nm and spectral resolution is as high as 2 GHz.
The 771 Laser Spectrum Analyzer is both a high-accuracy wavelength meter and a high-resolution spectrum analyzer. There are two models currently available – 771A is ideal for more demanding experiments and measures absolute laser wavelength to the highest accuracy of ±0.2 parts per million (±0.0002 nm at 1000 nm). For applications that require less precision, the 771B is a lower priced alternative. It measures laser wavelength to an accuracy of ±0.75 parts per million (±0.0008 nm at 1000 nm). Both models feature continuous calibration with a built-in wavelength standard as well as a straightforward operation with a PC using a USB or an Ethernet interface.
