The HeatBuster® cold mirror coating interrupts the light source path, resulting in reflection of visible light wavelengths and
transmission of infrared wavelengths. With our HeatBuster® cold mirror coatings in place, the visible light is redirected into a
desired path, and the heat energy (IR) is passed through, where it either continues on out of the system. Heat Buster® cold
mirror coatings are designed to reflect R = 95 % average from 400nm to 700nm and transmit T = 80 % average from 800nm
to 2500nm. The HeatBuster® cold mirror coatings are capable of operating at continuous temperatures of 500°C without any
evidence of cracking or peeling.
