Cree XLamp LEDs Chosen For ASP Triad Flashlights

Durham, NC — Cree, Inc., a supplier in LED solid-state lighting components, has announced that ASP, a manufacturer of high-precision flashlights used by law enforcement and military personnel, has designed Cree's new XLamp 7090 XR-E Series power LEDs into its top-line Triad flashlight models.

Cree XLamp 7090 XR-E Series LEDs lead the industry in brightness and efficiency, critical features in battery-powered, portable lighting applications such as hand-held flashlights. XR-E Series LEDs also produce the high-quality, uniform white light required by flashlight manufacturers. The new white Cree XR-E series LED produces typical luminous flux of 80 lumens at 350 mA, yielding 70 lumens per watt, and establishes a new class of LED performance.
