Datasheet: C9303-04 Color Sensor Module

Hamamatsu Corporation has begun marketing two new color sensor modules that are designed to monitor the output of RGB LEDs used as backlights in LCD flat panel monitors. Both the C9303-03 and C9303-04 modules feature a sensor with three photodiodes, each optimized for a separate wavelength in the red, green, or blue range.

Recently, RGB-LEDs have been in the focus of attention as the backlight for TFT-LCD (liquid crystal display) since LEDs are mercury-free unlike conventional cold cathode fluorescent lamps. Hamamatsu C9303-04 color sensor module has been specifically developed for the power monitor of RGB-LEDs. We welcome requests for custom shapes and RGB gain.
