CeramOptec's Collimators And Focusing Devices Cover A Wide Range Of Wavelengths
CeramOptec's Collimators and Focusing Beam-shaping Devices for optical systems are ideally suited for a wide range of wavelengths. They are available in three convenient sizes to accommodate nearly any size fiber. A small size is suited for fibers up to 400 mm; a medium size is designed for fibers up to 800 mm; and a large size handles larger fibers. For ease of use, the Medium and Large Collimators and Focusing Devices are compatible with one another. Collimators have SMA compatible connectors.
CeramOptec's Large Collimator measures 60.00 mm long with a 31.75 mm diameter and the Medium Collimator is 40.00 mm long and has a 19.00 mm diameter. The Large Focusing Device measures 25.40 mm with a 28.58 mm diameter, while the Medium Focusing Device is 16.38 mm long and has a 15.88 diameter. All are housed in an anodized aluminum casing. The Small Collimator measures 23.25 mm long with a diameter of 6.35 mm and is made of stainless steel.
The Collimators and Focusing Devices utilize high quality optical glass lenses made of BK-7. The BK-7 lenses are cost-effective alternatives to more expensive silica lenses and are well suited for stable temperature applications and most chemical environments. The instruments are ideal for a wide range of applications within the 350-2000 nm wavelength range. UV-grade fused silica lenses are also available and offer radiation resistance and excellent performance for deep UV transmission down to 190 nm.
