OptoSigma offers a multitude of positioning and staging options for a wide range of applications and their specific environments. With such a large selection of staging options including manual, contact slide, θ axis, and goniometer, OptoSigma can help sift through the difficulty of choosing the correct positioner model for a broad range of applications including optical experiments for research and development, and systems used for direction adjustment and correction.
The pco.edge family is comprised of a variety of sCMOS cameras with variations in resolution, frame rates, readout noise, dynamic range, and overall performance.
AziGrip4TM is a biofunctional coating platform for glass, plastics, metal oxides, and ITO used in applications involving cell cultures, diagnostics, fluorescence microscopy, bioanalytics, support for lipidic membranes, lab-on-a-chip, and other emerging applications.
HOYA’s color filter glass products include sharp cut/long pass, light-balancing, color-compensating, neutral density, heat-absorbing, multi-band calibration, and UV Absorbing/VIS blocking filters for the UV through NIR regions. Featured is the new UL365S UV Band-Pass Filter that offers UV transmitting/VIS absorbing performance with high UV transmittance, while providing the highest resistance to any effects caused by UV solarization and/or exposure to high humidity conditions.
The GM-1000 series of digital encoder galvano scanners is comprised of four different models with variations in beam diameter, scan angles, small step response, and resolution. Each model has a compact physical profile, super low thermal drift, and extreme high resolution, precision, and accuracy.
Hyperspectral imaging (HSI) is used for many applications including satellite imaging and air reconnaissance. HSI is usually executed with bulky hyperspectral-imaging cameras that are sensitive to misalignment, very expensive, and use prisms or gratings as dispersive elements. An alternative method of HSI is the combination of linear variable bandpass filters (LVBPFs) with silicon detectors. This allows for very compact, robust, and affordable HSI detectors that offer several advantages over conventional approaches.
ZYGO offers a large variety of metrology systems ranging from optical profilers to large aperture laser interferometers. These systems are capable of delivering visual and quantitative 3D (ISO 25178) surface measurements and advanced characterizations such as PSD analysis, aspheric form, super-smooth roughness, and much more.
At 2016’s Photonics West, Ray Fontayne provided us with a general overview of Opto Diode and the markets they serve.
Marco Snikkers wrapped up our Photonics West 2016 coverage by introducing us to a pixel sensor that acts as an 8-channel spectrometer for biomedical, fluorescence marking, and colorimeter applications, as well as a multi-spectral camera that can monitor specific wavelengths in real-time.
At Zygo' booth this year, Tyler Steele introduced us to the Verifire™ series of interferometers for the measurement of plano, spherical and aspherical surfaces and material characteristics. He then turned it over to Eric Felkel who showed us the Nomad™, a portable optical profiler for measuring topography and roughness on optical surfaces.
Greg Staples with BaySpec introduced us to his company’s latest portable benchtop Raman spectroscopy solution at Photonics West 2016.
At 2016’s Photonics West exhibition, Dan Bukaty talked to us about Precision Glass & Optics’ (PG&O) view on partnering with their customers.
FLIR is proud to introduce the new FLIR X6900sc as the world’s fastest 640 x 512 resolution thermal camera for high speed science applications. The new thermal imager is designed to record 1000 fps at full resolution onto the camera RAM for up to 26 seconds. Stop by FLIR booth #2632 for an opportunity to see this high speed camera in action.
