High power Ultra-Violet lasers require very special mirrors. The materials used in the construction of OptoSigma's Ultra-Violet optics are free from fluorescence and have very little absorption in the Ultra-Violet region of the spectrum. In addition, great detail is paid to the preparation of our Ultra-Violet mirrors to ensure that all surfaces are defect free delivering the highest possible performance. This attention to detail allows us to offer you the highest quality commercially available Ultra-Violet mirrors.
These Ultra-Violet laser mirrors are designed for specific Ultra-Violet laser applications where high reflectivity, low absorption, low wavefront distortion, and low scatter are important. Mirrors for use with excimer, 3rd and 4th harmonic Nd:YAG, HeCd, and Nitrogen lasers are offered at 193, 248, 266, 281 308, 325, 337, 352 and 355nm.
The reflectance is greater than 97% for 193nm mirrors, exceeds 99.0% up to 300nm and is greater than 99.5% above 300nm. Precisely polished Ultra-Violet grade fused silica substrates are made with great care to minimize subsurface structure increasing the damage threshold and lifetime of our Ultra-Violet mirrors.
Standard diameters are 1/2, 3/4, 1 and 2 inches. Other diameters and laser wavelengths are available upon request. Volume pricing is available for OEM production quantities.
