These optical breadboards are manufactured using strong, but lightweight, aluminum honeycomb core material sandwiched between steel skins

These optical breadboards are manufactured using strong, but lightweight, aluminum honeycomb core material sandwiched between steel skins. The ferromagnetic stainless steel mounting surface has a ground finish and a regular array of threaded mounting holes. Both inch (1/4-20 on inch centers) and metric (M6 on 25mm centers) versions are offered. Optics holders and positioners may be mounted onto these breadboards using the threaded hole pattern or magnetic clamps.
