LDV Digital Linescan Camera
Datasheet: LDV Digital Linescan Camera
Sensors Unlimited, Inc., part of Goodrich Corporation, pioneers of shortwave infrared (SWIR) imaging sensors and camera systems, offer shortwave IR cameras and linear arrays that are ideal for biomedical imaging such as optical coherence tomography of living tissue. The SWIR wavelength of 1310 nm is valuable in looking at tissues, because it is the longest wavelength that can be transmitted through the tissue with the least amount of scatter by the size of the molecules.
The near-infrared (NIR) cameras in the LDV series are all based on SUI's proprietary indium gallium arsenide (InGaAs) detector technology and like all of SUI's InGaAs cameras, they operate at room temperature, have no moving parts and work with standard glass optics. The cameras are easy to integrate, making them ideal for high-resolution machine vision and spectroscopic applications.
Developed in response to integrator's requests for flexibility, several array sizes and geometries are available with pixel counts of 256, 512 or 1024. The high dynamic range, low noise, high-line-rate platform LDV shortwave infrared cameras can be selected with a 25 or 50 micron pitch and can be ordered with SUI's standard NIR linear arrays (from 800 nm to 1700 nm) and the extended wavelength arrays (from 1100 nm to 2200 nm).
The rugged LDV Linescan Cameras are easy to operate, require no maintenance and feature an intuitive interface to optics and electronics. They are Camera Link® compatible and include a 14-bit digital output with continuous or triggered scanning modes.
