A passively cooled fiber-coupled high-power diode laser that uses convective cooling with tap water. This diode laser offers an optical output power of 250 W cw from a fiber of 400 µm. In addition, the diode laser offers an optical output power of 600 W qcw from an optical fiber of 600 µm.
