A true passion for Pyroelectric Detector technology and many years designing and producing them has helped us create the beginnings of an extensive line of standard discrete and hybrid detectors that provide excellent broadband performance from 0.1 µm to 20 µm. We're also very capable of designing CUSTOM sensors and electronics to help solve any measurement problem you might have.

SPC-X / SPC-XH Discrete Pyroelectric Detectors
We've designed a series of crystalline LiTaO3 detectors for a wide range of radiometric applications. These devices range in size from small to large, 1 mm to 9 mm diameter and are mounted in TO5 or TO8 packages. The SPC-X series detectors are designed for optimum current output utilizing a crystal mounting method that maximizes their thermal time constant. The SPC-XH devices are mounted on a heat sink to maximize their ability to handle high average power.

SPT-R-TRAP, SPT-AR-TRAP, SPT-DR TRAP: Pyroelectric TRAP Radiometer Probes
These NEW analog and digital Pyroelectric TRAP Radiometers set the standard for low uncertainty power measurements of lasers, lamps and low temperture black body sources. They are also ideal, when mated to an IR monochromator, for spectral calibration of IR detectors from 0.2 to 20 µm.

Digital, USB Powered Radiometric Detectors
We have developed a USB powered, modular, digital product line that brings together a variety of state of the art detectors, high performance trans-impedance amplifiers and a powerful microprocessor for incredible performance and versatility. This family of products include Pyroelectric (SPI-D), Silicon (SSI-D) and Germanium (SGI-D) detectors in a variety of sizes.

Modular Analog Radiometric Instruments
We have developed an exciting, modular product line that brings together a variety of state of the art Detectors and ultra high performance Surface Mount trans-impedance amplifiers for incredible radiometric performance and versatility.

SPH Hybrid Pyroelectric Detectors
We've created an extensive line of Hybrid Detectors that combine a LiTaO3 element with a high performance Surface Mount FET or Op Amp and Gigaohm resistors. The resulting product line takes full advantage of the pyroelectric effect... high voltage output, high bandwidth and low noise. The four series of hybrids are designed to optimize particular performance characteristics.
