1. Optical Filters for Endoscopy and Medical Imaging 12/17/2014

   Iridian Spectral offers edge, notch, and band pass optical filters covering the 300nm (UV) to 10µm (LWIR) wavelength range for biomedical instrumentation, and medical devices for endoscopy and laparoscopy.

4. Liquid Silicone Rubber Injection Molding 3/24/2014

   Liquid silicone rubber (LSR) molding is a thermoset process that mixes a two-component compound together, which is then heat cured in the mold with a platinum catalyst to produce a final part. Liquid Silicon Rubber parts are formed through an injection-molding process similar to that of conventional plastic injection molding with one major difference — the material delivery system is cooled and the mold is heated. Liquid silicone rubber possesses thermal, chemical and electrical resistance, plus biocompatibility. Also, Liquid Silicone Rubber parts can withstand sterilization while maintaining physical properties at extreme temperatures.

5. CCD Camera: 1110S 1/18/2013

   SI’s new 1110S camera is a pixel power-house!  It is designed to accommodate the very large area muti-port single-chip CCD sensors coming onto the market today. These 100+ megapixel CCDs require a camera capable of running  the large number of output ports in a cryo cooled dewar that meets and exceeds the requirements of the most demanding scientific applications. It provides device-limited performance in a very compact configuration.

6. Detect Ionizing Radiation: X Photodiode Series 3/5/2018

   First Sensor’s X series of photodiodes is utilized to detect alpha, beta, gamma, and X-ray radiation either directly through the absorption in the crystal lattice or indirectly through the measurement of the luminescence radiation of a scintillation crystal. The series features optimized silicon PIN photodiodes that form wide, fully depleted space-charge regions to guarantee maximum radiation absorption, even at low reverse voltages.
