Toshiba Appoints New Eastern Regional Sales Manager

Irvine, CA – Toshiba Imaging Systems Division, a division of Toshiba America Information Systems (TAIS), announced the appointment of Gary R. Pitre to the position of eastern regional sales manager reporting to Vince Giovinco, national sales manager. A veteran manager of industrial video products for the machine vision industry, Pitre will oversee all sales activities for Toshiba's industrial video cameras in the eastern region of North America. Most recently, Pitre was North American sales manager at Leutron Vision. He has also held key sales executive positions with DALSA Corp. and PPT Vision, Inc.

He adds, "Gary's background in frame grabbers and machine vision cameras will enable us to dramatically expand our sales of 3CCD color cameras and make significant sales strides for the coming years with all our video products into the vertical markets in which we compete."
